Valerie has been in the rehabilitation space for over two decades, dedicating this last decade to geriatric care & rehabilitation. She holds certifications from the NCCDP as a certified dementia practitioner and is a certified Montessori dementia practitioner. She also holds her certification in healthcare compliance (CHC). Her passion is to equip healthcare providers in care approaches for people struggling with dementia. She has presented a dementia care program at CAHF (California Association of Health Facilities).
